Welcome to CareerNodes ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.careernodes.com and services (collectively, "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. As of June 2024, our Services are only designed for people in India. If you reside outside India and choose to use our services, you do so at your own risk. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about any updates. Your continued use of our Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Access to Services

We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Services without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use our Services only for lawful purposes.
• Not misuse our Services or interfere with their normal operation.

6. Intellectual Property

You may provide input to the Services (“Input”) and receive output from the Services based on the Input (“Output”). Input and Output are collectively “User Content.” You are responsible for all User Content, including ensuring that it does not violate any applicable law or these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to provide Input to our Services.

Due to the nature of our Services and artificial intelligence generally, output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar output from our Services. Our assignment above does not extend to other users’ output or any Third Party Output.

We may use your User Content to provide, maintain, develop, and improve our Services, comply with applicable law, enforce our terms and policies, and keep our Services safe. If you do not want us to use your User Content to train our models, you can opt out by sending an email to compliance@careernodes.com. Please note that in some cases, this may limit the ability of our Services to better address your specific use case.

All content other than "User Content" specified above, trademarks, and other intellectual property on our Services are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

7. Usage Policy

You agree to:

• Use our Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our Services.
• Not upload or transmit any viruses or malicious code.
• Not use our Services to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Not use our Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity.

Further, you agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring that you will not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any information that:

• Belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right.
• Is harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially or ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating to or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting to another nation.
• Is misleading in any way.
• Is patently false and untrue and is written or published in any form with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity, or agency for financial gain or to cause any injury to any person.
• Impersonates another person.
• Violates any law for the time being in force.

Upon receiving actual knowledge or an order from a competent authority, whether in compliance with Section 69A of the Information Technology Act 2000 or otherwise, we will remove or disable access to any information that is unlawful or non-compliant with the above rules or is considered prejudicial to the sovereignty, integrity, defense, security of the state, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or for preventing incitement to the commission of any cognizable offense relating to the above.

8. Grievance Redressal

If you have any complaints regarding our Services, please contact our Grievance Officer by email at compliance@careernodes.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations, or other terms which may apply to our Services, whether express or implied. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our Services.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
